**About the Role** NAGA is looking for an experienced **Senior Resident Engineer** to oversee and manage site supervision activities across projects in Abu Dhabi. The role will provide senior-level technical and operational leadership, overseeing multiple Resident Engineers while ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with approved designs, contractual requirements, project schedules, quality standards, and health and safety requirements. The Senior Resident Engineer will act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, contractors, and supervision teams, providing leadership and making higher-level decisions throughout the construction phase. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and oversee multiple **Resident Engineers**, providing senior-level direction, decision-making, and support across assigned projects. * Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including design coordination, materials procurement, construction activities, and site works. * Ensure projects are delivered in line with approved **project schedules, milestones, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements**. * Monitor construction progress and ensure full compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable UAE codes and standards, and contractual requirements. * Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, coordination meetings, and meetings with contractors and key stakeholders. * Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders, ensuring a high level of stakeholder satisfaction. * Review and monitor contractor performance, identifying potential delays, quality concerns, technical issues, and contractual risks. * Support the resolution of technical, contractual, and construction-related issues that arise during project execution. * Ensure accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records are maintained, including construction drawings, schedules, progress reports, inspection reports, and relevant project documentation. * Ensure effective coordination between project teams and relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution. * Monitor the quality of executed works and ensure construction activities comply with approved requirements and standards. * Ensure full compliance with project milestones and delivery requirements. * Maintain a strong focus on **health and safety performance** across site activities. * Apply strong knowledge of construction contracts, with **FIDIC experience preferred**, to support contractual compliance and project delivery. * Prepare and review project reports and provide senior management with updates on progress, risks, issues, and key project matters. * Contribute to enhancing NAGA's project delivery performance and presence across **Abu Dhabi projects**. **Qualifications & Experience** * Bachelor's degree in **Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field**. * **15+ years of relevant professional experience**, with substantial experience in the UAE. * Minimum **5 years of experience in a Resident Engineer role**. * Strong experience working on construction projects within the UAE. * Strong knowledge and understanding of **UAE codes, standards, and construction** **Requirements**. * Strong understanding of **construction contracts**, with FIDIC knowledge/experience preferred. * Proven experience managing and overseeing **Resident Engineers and site supervision teams**. * Strong leadership and team management capabilities. * Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and report-writing skills. * Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams. * Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, milestones, quality requirements, and safety performance. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. **Technical Skills** * Revit – **Must** * BIM – **Must** * Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) – **Must** * Strong proficiency in relevant construction/project documentation and reporting tools. **Key Performance Focus** Success in this role will be measured by the ability to: * Ensure compliance with **project schedules and milestones**. * Maintain a high standard of **quality in executed works**. * Achieve strong **stakeholder satisfaction**. * Maintain full **health and safety performance**. * Ensure effective contractual and technical compliance. * Provide strong leadership and oversight of Resident Engineers and site supervision teams. * Support and enhance NAGA's overall performance across its **Abu Dhabi projects**.
