**About the Company** Aspire Manpower Services is recruiting a highly experienced Project Manager – Civil Engineering on behalf of our client, a reputable university in the UAE. **About the Role** The successful candidate will lead the planning, design, coordination, and supervision of civil engineering works related to construction, infrastructure, renovation, and facility improvement projects. The role requires ensuring that all projects are completed according to approved specifications, quality standards, budgets, timelines, and applicable UAE regulations. **Responsibilities** * Lead the planning, design, execution, and supervision of civil engineering and facility improvement projects. * Prepare, review, and propose engineering designs, drawings, project plans, and technical specifications. * Monitor project progress, budgets, timelines, quality standards, and overall performance. * Supervise construction and civil works to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and safety requirements. * Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant internal departments. * Review technical submissions, drawings, material specifications, method statements, and project documentation. * Identify project risks and recommend corrective, preventive, and improvement measures. * Conduct site inspections and ensure that defects, delays, and non-compliance issues are addressed promptly. * Prepare technical reports, progress updates, presentations, and recommendations for management. * Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, civil engineering standards, contractual requirements, and relevant regulations. * Support the preparation of project scopes, tender documents, cost estimates, and technical evaluations. * Execute operational plans in alignment with the university’s strategic objectives. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. * Relevant professional certification in project management or engineering would be an advantage. * Proven experience managing civil construction, infrastructure, renovation, or facility improvement projects. * Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles, construction standards, infrastructure systems, and UAE building codes. * Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government or regulatory authorities. * Strong understanding of the complete project lifecycle, engineering documentation, contracts, budgets, and project controls. * Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and preparing engineering and project reports. * Previous experience within a university, educational institution, large facility, or similar environment would be an advantage. **Required Skills** * Strong project management, leadership, and supervisory capabilities. * Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Effective communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. * Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines. * Commercial awareness and sound decision-making abilities. * Ability to translate strategic objectives into effective operational plans. **Preferred Skills** Industry: Education / University **Pay range and compensation package** Salary: AED 18,000–20,000 per month **How to Apply** Interested candidates who meet the above requirements are encouraged to apply through LinkedIn with an updated CV highlighting their relevant civil engineering and project management experience.
