For this opportunity, we are looking for a Full-Stack Developer with a strong backend foundation and hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities into production applications. You will join a small product-focused team developing end-to-end digital solutions for the beverage industry, supporting areas ranging from product and packaging workflows to logistics and technology. The role is predominantly focused on an existing .NET platform, with responsibility for integrating practical AI features using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation and conversational interfaces. The frontend component includes React-based interfaces, particularly for chat and AI-enabled user experiences. This is a product-engineering position for someone who wants to understand the problem behind each request, evaluate its business impact and take ownership of the resulting solution. You should be comfortable working with ambiguity, making pragmatic technical decisions and contributing beyond the execution of predefined tasks. **Responsibilities** * Develop and evolve an existing production platform using C# and .NET. * Design and implement integrations with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI or equivalent large language model APIs. * Build AI-enabled product capabilities using RAG pipelines, embeddings and vector search. * Implement streaming responses and real-time conversational experiences using technologies such as Server-Sent Events. * Develop and integrate React-based interfaces, particularly chat and AI-assisted user experiences. * Work with PostgreSQL and Azure services in a production environment. * Integrate internal applications with external APIs, services and AI agents. * Analyse product and business problems before defining the appropriate technical solution. * Make pragmatic engineering decisions that balance product value, maintainability, performance and delivery speed. * Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve the reliability and quality of the platform. * Collaborate closely with a small, multidisciplinary team and communicate progress, risks and technical decisions clearly. * Take autonomous ownership of features while remaining flexible and open to feedback. **Requirements** * Professional experience developing production applications with C# and .NET. * Solid experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. * Hands-on experience integrating APIs and external services. * Practical experience integrating LLM APIs such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI or equivalent platforms. * Understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases or vector search. * Experience implementing streaming APIs or real-time application behaviour. * Working knowledge of React and TypeScript, sufficient to develop or integrate conversational interfaces. * Experience working with Azure or a comparable cloud platform. * Ability to translate business and product needs into maintainable technical solutions. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a small team. * Flexibility and comfort working with evolving requirements and existing production constraints. * Fluent Portuguese, as it is essential for effective collaboration with the wider team. * Fluent English. * Availability and willingness to work from Porto ideally one or two days per week. * A collaborative mindset and genuine appreciation for the value of in-person proximity within a small team. **Hiring Process** Our hiring process is designed to help both sides make an informed decision and ensure the best possible match between your experience, aspirations, and the project environment.
