In the years leading up to the Games, you will create clear, engaging communications that guide fans, volunteers, staff and operational stakeholders, establishing the spectator communications approach from the ground up. Partnering across Event Visitor Services and cross-functional teams, you will turn operational plans into accessible, inclusive messages that help every visitor feel informed, welcome and ready to enjoy the Games.  **Key Responsibilities**  * Support the development and execution of spectator communications plans across every Event Visitor Services touchpoint.  * Create clear, concise and engaging content for spectators, volunteers, staff and operational stakeholders across written, video and presentation formats.  * Partner with EVS functional teams and cross-functional stakeholders to keep communications accurate, consistent and aligned with LA28 standards.  * Develop training content and materials that prepare workforce members to support spectators through operational readiness milestones.  * Manage communication deliverables, schedules and project tracking to support event readiness and enhance the overall guest experience.  **Required Competencies**  * Proven experience (4+ years) working in communications, public relations, event communications or a closely related professional field.  * Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to create clear, concise and engaging content for varied audiences.  * Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with strong written and oral delivery, even under tight deadlines.  * Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and build credibility, respect and trust with internal and external stakeholders.  * Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience, with relevant qualifications in communications or a related field preferred.  **Valued Experience**  * Experience within an international sports or major events organization.  * Proficiency with Microsoft Office for content and project delivery.  * Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality.  * Skilled at managing multiple detailed tasks under tight timelines.  * Knowledge of local Los Angeles culture and communities.  **What We Offer**  * The chance to help deliver a once-in-a-generation Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.  * Purpose-driven work that shapes the spectator experience for millions of fans worldwide.  * A collaborative, inclusive and diverse team guided by the values of the Movement.  * Room to grow your skills while creating something that has never existed before.  **What This Role Means for the Games**  Spectator communications shape how fans, volunteers and staff understand and enjoy the Games. In this role, your work helps every visitor arrive informed, feel welcome and move confidently through each venue, turning LA28's operational planning into moments that make the Olympic and Paralympic experience memorable for all.  **Physical Requirements & Working Conditions**  * Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.  * The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.  * The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.  * Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.  * Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.  **Compensation**  The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000 - $98,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.
