We are seeking an HRIS Business Systems Analyst to support a portfolio of enterprise applications and business technology initiatives. This individual will contribute to ongoing operational activities, system enhancements, integration efforts, and project delivery work across multiple business platforms. The successful candidate will help bridge business and technical teams by translating operational needs into documented requirements, supporting system configuration and testing, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring solutions are effectively implemented and maintained. This assignment is expected to provide additional delivery and operational capacity during a period of team transition and evolving project demands. **Primary Responsibilities** **Enterprise Application Support** * Assist with the administration and support of business-critical SaaS applications. * Analyze and resolve application issues by conducting investigations, documenting findings, and coordinating corrective actions. * Maintain support documentation, process documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures. * Work closely with business users, vendors, and internal technology teams to address system-related needs. * Support user access management, operational readiness activities, and system adoption efforts. * Participate in identifying opportunities for process improvement and system optimization. Integration and Data Management * Gather and document requirements for data exchange and connectivity between applications. * Support application integrations using APIs, secure file transfers, and other enterprise integration approaches. * Create and maintain documentation related to data mappings, business rules, interface specifications, validation requirements, and exception handling procedures. * Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment. * Assist in diagnosing and resolving integration failures, data quality concerns, and system communication issues. * Maintain integration inventories, process diagrams, and technical support documentation. **Required Experience and Qualifications** * Previous experience in a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, Implementation Consultant, or comparable role. * Experience working with cloud-based and SaaS applications in support, implementation, or administration capacities. * Strong background in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution documentation. * Ability to translate business objectives into system requirements, configuration recommendations, testing scenarios, and implementation plans. * Experience supporting integrations between enterprise platforms and business applications. * Understanding of API concepts including authentication, endpoints, request/response structures, and error handling. * Familiarity with managed file-transfer processes and batch data exchange methods. * Experience developing test strategies, test cases, defect tracking documentation, and validation procedures. * Exposure to system testing activities including integration testing and user acceptance testing. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple work efforts simultaneously while maintaining clear documentation and follow-through. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with both business and technical audiences. * Experience collaborating with vendors, engineers, solution owners, security teams, and business partners. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with HR, talent management, recruiting, learning, workforce management, or related employee-focused technologies. * Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, employee engagement platforms, recognition platforms, or workforce applications. * Previous involvement in SaaS implementations, technology migrations, or platform modernization efforts. * Experience documenting business processes, operational workflows, and future-state solution designs. * Understanding of identity management, user provisioning, access management, and single sign-on concepts. * Exposure to API analysis and testing tools. * Familiarity with structured data formats and integration documentation practices. * Experience supporting application migrations, platform retirements, consolidation initiatives, or data archival efforts. * Experience working within Agile, iterative, or hybrid project delivery environments.
