We are seeking an independent consultant to support the reliability, security and technical maintenance of our website and related infrastructure. The assignment will focus on technical operations and include a structured handover from our current external provider.  🔵 **About us**  Pax Christi International is a global Catholic peace movement working with partners and members around the world to promote peace, reconciliation and nonviolence.  🔵 **Key responsibilities**  Monitor the website’s performance, availability and security, including the CMS and plugins. Manage updates, backups, recovery arrangements and access permissions. Coordinate with providers on hosting, domains, DNS, CDN and other services. Investigate and resolve technical issues and vulnerabilities. Support authorised migrations, major upgrades and improvements. Document work carried out, technical risks and recommendations. Any website-related changes must be coordinated with the Communications Team and approved in advance by the Secretary General.  🔵 **About you**  You have experience maintaining websites and content management systems, with practical knowledge of hosting, DNS, backups and security. You can work effectively with external providers and explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues. You are reliable and discreet, understand data protection responsibilities, and have a good command of written and spoken English.  🔵 **Workload and location**  The workload is expected to be up to 10 hours per week during the handover. After the first two to three months, it will be reviewed and may be reduced to around 6–8 hours per week. The consultancy is remote. Candidates based in Belgium are preferred, but applications from elsewhere in Europe are welcome.
