Deliver Great Outcomes.  About the role The Salesforce Developer and Digital Solutions Specialist develops, enhances, and supports Salesforce solutions that improve sales and customer service processes. The position emphasizes hands-on development using Apex, Salesforce Flow, Lightning configuration, and related platform capabilities across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Working collaboratively with administrators, developers, business analysts, and business partners, this role translates requirements into secure, maintainable, and testable technical solutions. The position may independently build and support integrations between Salesforce and other systems, while strategic architecture decisions and enterprise platform direction remain with senior technical leadership. The role performs limited routine administration but maintains sufficient knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security, release, and support processes to deliver well-rounded solutions. 🏢💻**Hybrid Framework** - The best of both worlds! What will you be doing? * **Salesforce Development:** Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch and queueable processes, invocable actions, REST services, callouts, and supporting unit tests. * **Digital Solutions and Automation:** Build and enhance Salesforce Flow automation, validation logic, Lightning pages, and user experiences that support Sales Cloud and Service Cloud business processes. * **Solution Collaboration:** Work with coworkers and business partners to understand requirements, evaluate options, and develop practical technical solutions within established platform standards and architectural direction. * **Code Quality:** Write clean, documented, bulk-safe, and maintainable code that follows Salesforce development standards, governor-limit considerations, security requirements, and team design patterns. * **Integration Development:** Independently design, build, test, monitor, and troubleshoot Salesforce integrations using Apex, REST or SOAP APIs, JSON, and approved authentication and integration patterns. * **Testing and Release Support:** Create unit and integration tests, participate in peer reviews, support user acceptance testing, and assist with source control, deployment, and post-release validation activities. * **Platform Support:** Troubleshoot Salesforce defects and production issues across custom code, automation, configuration, data, and integrations; document root cause and implement durable corrections. * **Platform Administration Awareness:** Apply working knowledge of Salesforce objects, fields, permissions, sharing, validation rules, reports, dashboards, environments, and release processes while partnering with administrators for routine administration. * **Documentation and Continuous Improvement:** Maintain technical documentation, share knowledge with team members, and stay current with Salesforce platform releases, development practices, and relevant capabilities in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. What are we looking for? * 3+ years of hands-on experience working with the Salesforce platform, including solution development, automation, configuration, or support. * 2+ years of hands-on Apex development experience, including development, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of custom Salesforce solutions. * Salesforce certifications are not required at hire. Relevant Salesforce certifications, including Platform Developer I, Administrator, or Platform App Builder, are preferred and may qualify for certification incentives in accordance with applicable company programs. **Work Environment:** Job is performed in a hybrid office environment, with two days currently expected in the office each week. What will make you stand out? * Strong working knowledge of Apex, including classes, triggers, asynchronous processing, invocable methods, callouts, exception handling, and unit testing. * Ability to write efficient SOQL and design solutions that respect Salesforce governor limits and large-data-volume considerations. * Hands-on experience building Salesforce Flow automation and determining when Apex is appropriate to supplement declarative functionality. * Experience configuring Lightning record pages, app pages, actions, and user experiences for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. * Working knowledge of Lightning Web Components and JavaScript sufficient to build or maintain targeted user-interface enhancements. * Experience designing, building, testing, and troubleshooting REST and SOAP integrations, including JSON payloads, authentication concepts, and error handling. * Understanding of Salesforce data modeling, data quality, security, sharing, profiles, permission sets, and access-control concepts. * Familiarity with Salesforce administration processes, including environments, users, configuration, reports, dashboards, and release support. * Experience with source control, preferably Git, and familiarity with Salesforce DX and CI/CD delivery practices. * Ability to develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and deployment validation testing. * Working knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud capabilities and business processes. * Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into clear, maintainable technical solutions within established architecture. * Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to work independently on assigned solutions while collaborating effectively with administrators, developers, analysts, and business partners.
