We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to shape and guide the evolution of large-scale enterprise cloud environments. This role will focus on developing robust cloud strategies, defining architectural standards, and ensuring technology platforms are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Microsoft Azure, enterprise infrastructure design, and modern cloud technologies, with the ability to provide architectural direction across complex technology landscapes. * Establishing a consistent and scalable enterprise Azure architecture. * Driving stronger cloud governance, security, and architectural standardisation. * Enabling engineering teams to adopt modern cloud technologies through clear architectural direction. * Delivering practical technology roadmaps and design principles that support long-term enterprise transformation. **Professional Background** * 7+ years of experience in cloud technology, infrastructure architecture, platform engineering, or enterprise solution design. * Demonstrated experience in architecting and delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions. * Previous experience in a large organisation, cloud consulting environment, technology services provider, or hyperscaler ecosystem. **Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure** * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure architecture and its IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities. * Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform. * Strong understanding of cloud foundation design, including landing zones, data landing zones, subscription models, resource hierarchy, governance policies, and role-based access controls. * Good knowledge of enterprise networking, including virtual networks, DNS, load balancing, SD-WAN, and identity management. **Security, Governance & Automation** * Experience designing enterprise cloud environments with a focus on security, scalability, resilience, and regulatory governance. * Understanding of cloud security frameworks, identity architecture, monitoring, observability, availability, and disaster recovery. * Ability to assess and provide technical feedback on Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, GitHub repositories, and CI/CD processes. * Comfortable providing architectural oversight rather than performing routine infrastructure development or deployment activities. **Modern Cloud & Application Technologies** * Understanding of containerisation, Kubernetes, API management, cloud data platforms, and contemporary integration architectures. * Knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud security engineering, and AI-related cloud capabilities. * Exposure to distributed application architectures and modern cloud-native design principles.
