We’re Hiring: AV Support Engineer 🕒 **Employment Type:** Full-Time 💼 **Level:** Mid-Level to Senior-Level We are looking for a technically skilled, detail-oriented, and customer-focused **AV Support Engineer** to join our team! The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of audiovisual (AV) systems, troubleshooting, equipment installation, and technical support. This role involves maintaining AV infrastructure, resolving technical issues, supporting system integration, and ensuring reliable performance of audiovisual equipment across meeting rooms, conference facilities, and other professional environments. 🎯 Key Responsibilities * Provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for audiovisual systems and equipment. * Install, configure, test, and commission AV systems, including projectors, displays, video conferencing systems, microphones, speakers, and control systems. * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and audio/video signal issues. * Support video conferencing platforms and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and similar solutions. * Maintain AV equipment, including mixers, amplifiers, DSP systems, cameras, control processors, and wireless presentation devices. * Monitor system performance and conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. * Assist with AV system integration, upgrades, and equipment replacement projects. * Configure and troubleshoot audio routing, video distribution, network connectivity, and control interfaces. * Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to users and clients. * Prepare technical documentation, maintenance records, equipment inventories, and service reports. * Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal IT teams to resolve complex technical issues. * Provide user training and guidance on AV equipment operation and best practices. ✅ Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, Multimedia Technology, or a related field. * Proven experience in AV support, audiovisual engineering, system installation, or technical troubleshooting. * Strong understanding of audio and video equipment, signal flow, and AV system integration. * Familiarity with video conferencing systems, digital displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, and control systems. * Knowledge of AV-over-IP, HDMI, HDBaseT, DSP, and basic networking concepts. * Experience with platforms such as Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, or similar AV technologies is an advantage. * Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and customer service abilities. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical support requests. * Willingness to provide on-site support and travel when required. 🌟 What We Offer * Competitive salary and performance-based incentives. * Opportunities to work with modern AV and collaboration technologies. * Technical training and professional development opportunities. * Exposure to enterprise AV installations and integration projects. * Supportive and collaborative working environment. * Career advancement opportunities in AV engineering and technical operations. * Flexible working arrangements, where applicable.
