We would like to meet a **Senior webMethods Integration Architect** for a project in Lisbon. **Responsibilities:** * Define, design and advise on integration architectures and solution patterns, ensuring alignment with technical standards and best practices. * Act as the technical design authority for integration solutions, providing architectural guidance across delivery teams. * Provide Level 4 technical support and specialized expertise throughout the solution delivery lifecycle. * Establish, document and promote integration best practices, technical guidelines and architectural standards. * Design and support the implementation, configuration and maintenance of Software AG/webMethods platforms. * Ensure integration solutions comply with security policies, protocols and architectural guidelines. * Conduct research and development activities to evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation. * Define and maintain software roadmaps aligned with project objectives and business requirements. * Manage relationships with software vendors, coordinating technical discussions and ensuring alignment with project requirements. * Support delivery teams in troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing integration solutions. * Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture specifications and integration patterns. * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international and multicultural environment. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field. * 6+ years of experience with Software AG/webMethods solutions. * 1–2 years of specific experience in platform configuration, administration and maintenance. * Hands-on experience with Software AG/webMethods v10, including Integration Server, API Gateway and Universal Messaging. * Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and integration design patterns. * Proficiency in REST and SOAP protocols and web services integration. * Experience with Docker, OpenShift and containerized environments. * Knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments. * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Xvista. * Strong knowledge of Linux environments and scripting. * Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). * Strong understanding of integration architecture, security principles and technical governance. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable information. * Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders, facilitate technical discussions and collaborate with internal and external providers. * Ability to work autonomously and effectively within cross-functional, international teams. * Fluent in English (B2+ – mandatory, both spoken and written).
