Our mission is to create flexible, human-centric payment experiences that keep people and businesses moving forward. **About The Role** Riverty is seeking a Frontend Engineer (Angular) (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin. This is a full-time, permanent position with hybrid working conditions. You will help build the next generation of fintech products and contribute to experiences that customers and merchants find useful, intuitive, and reliable. Working closely with design, product, and backend colleagues, you will develop ambitious web applications as part of a growing product and technology organization. You will also contribute to a company-wide platform for interface design and development. This role offers the opportunity to influence how new teams work, shape technical practices, and help create products that combine strong engineering with a thoughtful customer experience. **Qualifications** You bring at least four years of professional frontend development experience and strong practical skills in Angular and TypeScript. You have built scalable, responsive web applications and reusable user interface components, and understand Angular architecture, component-based development, and reactive programming. You are comfortable integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and applying testing, debugging, and code quality practices. You understand the principles of web performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility, and can use them to make applications more reliable and inclusive. You take ownership of your work, communicate effectively with colleagues, and enjoy contributing to a collaborative product team. You are curious about improving development practices and have hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot. You apply sound judgement when reviewing, testing, and validating AI-generated code. Fluency in English is required; German is an advantage. Applicants must have EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Germany. **Responsibilities** Design, build, and maintain web applications in collaboration with cross-functional colleagues across European locations. Contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing development of Riverty’s shared platform for interface design and frontend development. Participate in regular Scrum ceremonies and work with product and design partners to turn requirements into effective, maintainable solutions. Stay informed about relevant developments in web technologies and apply them where they support product quality. Take initiative to improve frontend accessibility, performance, consistency, maintainability, and robustness.
