An opportunity to build something, not simply inherit a portfolio.
We are representing an established boutique Corporate Finance advisory firm headquartered in London, with a strong reputation for delivering sell-side M&A transactions across the technology sector.
Having established a successful track record in the lower mid-market, the firm is entering its next phase of growth and is looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Finance professional who can help shape that direction.
The Opportunity
The firm currently specialises in sell-side transactions, typically within low-mid market space the, across IT Services, Technology, Cyber Security and Telecommunications.
Having completed multiple transactions so far in 2026, with further deals progressing, the business is looking to expand its capabilities and move into larger, more complex transactions, and new sectors.
Ambitions include:
* Larger Transactions: Expanding into the £10m to £50m deal market.
* New Sectors: Developing a stronger presence across Artificial Intelligence, Data, Technology and Energy.
* International M&A: Building on existing European relationships to develop cross-border transaction opportunities.
* Service Expansion: Exploring additional advisory capabilities, including due diligence.
* Private Equity Relationships: Developing relationships with investors and identifying opportunities across their portfolio companies.
The successful individual will have the opportunity to influence these plans rather than simply execute an established strategy.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are interested in speaking with experienced Corporate Finance professionals operating at Senior Manager or Director level who can demonstrate a combination of transaction execution and commercial origination.
You will ideally bring:
* A strong track record of originating and executing M&A transactions.
* Established relationships with business owners, investors, private equity firms or professional advisers.
* The commercial credibility to engage with senior decision-makers and identify new opportunities.
* An understanding of the lower mid-market and the ambition to move into larger transactions.
* The ability to contribute ideas around sector expansion, new services and the future direction of the business.
* An entrepreneurial approach, with the confidence to operate autonomously within a collaborative boutique environment.
Experience across technology-related sectors would be particularly relevant, although we are open to individuals with established networks in complementary markets.
