Leveraged Finance Senior Associate - International Firm

remote • GBR • unknown • Не указана
**The firm** Our client is an established international law firm seeking an experienced leveraged finance lawyer to join its London finance practice. The firm combines a substantial international platform with close collaboration between its finance, corporate and private equity teams. Its practice offers exposure to complex domestic and cross-border transactions, with scope for a senior lawyer to take a prominent role in deal execution and client relationships. This opportunity would suit an ambitious associate seeking a step up in responsibility, or an existing senior associate looking to make a meaningful contribution within a well-established finance team. **The role** You will advise on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions, taking responsibility for matters from initial instructions through to completion. The position requires a lawyer who can run transactions confidently, negotiate key documentation and provide clear, commercially focused advice. Alongside transactional work, you will help develop client relationships, supervise junior colleagues and contribute to the wider growth of the practice. **Your responsibilities** * Lead the day-to-day management of leveraged and acquisition finance transactions. * Draft and negotiate facility agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documents and related financing documentation. * Advise on refinancings, recapitalisations, amendments and ongoing financing arrangements. * Act as a key contact for clients, managing expectations and providing practical advice throughout a transaction. * Coordinate international counsel and colleagues across corporate, tax, restructuring and other specialist teams. * Supervise junior associates and trainees, reviewing their work and supporting their development. * Contribute to pitches, business development initiatives and the expansion of existing client relationships. **About you** You will be a qualified lawyer with approximately five or more years’ PQE and strong leveraged or acquisition finance experience gained within a recognised banking and finance practice. You should be comfortable running transactions with an appropriate degree of independence, negotiating substantive documents and managing several competing workstreams. The ability to combine technical expertise with commercial judgement will be essential. Experience supervising junior lawyers and developing direct client relationships would be particularly valuable. **Why consider this opportunity?** The role offers a combination of international transactional work, client contact and responsibility within an established London practice. You will have the opportunity to build your profile, influence the delivery of transactions and contribute to the development of the team. For a lawyer considering their next move, the appeal is the opportunity to take an active senior role in both the work and the wider practice.
