Spatial GIS Services (SpatialGIS) is a small business federal contractor dedicated to delivering high-impact solutions for government agencies and academic institutions. We are currently seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data Management Analyst to support an upcoming federal program designed to help colleges and universities strengthen their research administration capabilities and successfully compete for federal research funding. Note: This position is contingent upon the award of the contract. **About The Role** In this role, you will lead the program's data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development efforts. You will collaborate closely with program leadership, IT partners, and participating institutions to transform program data into actionable insights, define technical database requirements, and help guide the program's exploration of emerging AI technologies. **Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)** Reporting & Dashboards: Build, maintain, and refine the program's monthly measurement reports and interactive dashboards from program data. Requirements Gathering & Collaboration: Gather comprehensive database requirements and review website content in partnership with our dedicated IT partner. AI Evaluation & Strategy: Evaluate potential AI tools under consideration by the program and assist in drafting its AI Concept of Operations (ConOps). **Qualifications & Requirements (What You Need)** Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in data analysis and reporting (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Business Intelligence Expertise: Hands-on work with modern business intelligence or dashboard tools, such as Power BI or Tableau. Requirements Documentation: Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting clear database and technical requirements. **Preferred Qualifications** Experience evaluating artificial intelligence (AI) tools or emerging technologies.
