Senior Security Design Engineer **Company:** AL RAID Security & Technology Consultancy **Location:** Riyadh, Saudi Arabia **Employment Type:** Full-Time | On-Site About the Role AL RAID Security & Technology Consultancy is seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Senior Security Design Engineer** to join our team and contribute to the delivery of strategic security projects across Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading physical security systems design activities, ensuring compliance with SAIS Directives, relevant security regulations, and industry standards, while delivering comprehensive engineering design packages. Key Responsibilities * Lead security engineering design activities from Concept Design (Stage 1) through Preliminary Design (Stage 2), Detailed Design, and Tender Documentation, as applicable. * Develop and review comprehensive security design packages, including: * Security Design Reports * Engineering Drawings and Layouts * Technical Specifications * Bills of Quantities (BOQ) * Engineering Design Calculations * Compliance and Authority Submission Packages * Design and coordinate integrated physical security systems, including: * CCTV and Video Surveillance Systems * Access Control Systems (ACS) * Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS) * Security Fencing, Barriers, and Perimeter Protection * Security Command & Control Centers * Integrated Security Management Systems * Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) * Security Screening and Inspection Technologies * Ensure that all security designs comply with applicable SAIS Directives, authority requirements, and relevant engineering standards. * Lead technical meetings, client workshops, design reviews, and engineering presentations. * Coordinate security system design requirements with multidisciplinary engineering teams. * Review technical deliverables, identify design risks, and ensure engineering quality and compliance. * Provide technical coordination and design support during project execution and construction activities when required. Required Qualifications & Experience * **Minimum 10 years of professional experience** in Security Design Engineering and Physical Security Systems. * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Security Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. * **PSP (Physical Security Professional) certification is mandatory.** * **Strong knowledge and practical experience with SAIS Directives** and applicable security regulations. * Demonstrated experience delivering security engineering designs across multiple project stages. * Proven ability to independently prepare and review complete security engineering design packages. * Strong technical expertise in integrated physical security systems. * Excellent communication, technical presentation, and stakeholder management skills. * Proven ability to lead engineering teams and coordinate complex multidisciplinary projects. Preferred Qualifications * CPP (Certified Protection Professional) certification. * Previous experience working with engineering contractors and supporting project execution, construction, and site implementation. * Experience with critical infrastructure, government facilities, industrial facilities, transportation, aviation, ports, or other strategic projects. * Additional relevant security engineering certifications.
