**Role Description** The Procurement Operations Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting end-to-end procurement activities that enable Madinah Tech’s innovation projects. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and evaluating vendors, obtaining and comparing quotes, and assisting with contract and purchase order preparation. The specialist will track deliveries, maintain accurate procurement records, and ensure compliance with internal policies and municipal requirements. This role collaborates closely with operations, project teams, and external partners to forecast needs, manage procurement workflows, and optimize cost, quality, and timeliness of goods and services. The position contributes to efficient operations that help startups and partners pilot and scale solutions in Madinah. **Qualifications** * Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate vendor proposals, compare cost and quality, and support data-driven procurement decisions. * Effective Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and municipal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner. * Experience in Operations Management to manage procurement workflows, track orders, and maintain accurate documentation. * Project Management capabilities to plan procurement timelines, prioritize tasks, and support multiple innovation projects simultaneously. * Sales and negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and build long-term, collaborative vendor relationships. * Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations within technology, startup, or public-sector environments is beneficial. * Familiarity with digital procurement tools, basic contract terms, and standard purchasing processes. * Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong organization, attention to detail, and reliability. * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
