FREIGHTLX is an AI ocean freight platform helping importers compare rates, book shipments, and track their cargo. We are hiring a Freight Forwarding Operations Specialist to coordinate shipments and keep customers informed from booking through delivery. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate ocean freight operations, particularly FCL imports into Saudi Arabia. • Obtain and compare quotations from shipping lines and overseas agents. • Arrange bookings and follow up on cargo readiness and documentation deadlines. • Review bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists. • Coordinate with customs brokers and transport providers for clearance and delivery. • Track shipments, resolve operational issues, and proactively update customers. • Monitor free time and container returns to help avoid demurrage and detention charges. • Maintain accurate shipment records and verify supplier invoices against agreed rates. Requirements • Hands-on experience in freight forwarding operations, particularly ocean freight. • Working knowledge of FCL shipments, Incoterms, and shipping documentation. • Familiarity with Saudi import and customs clearance workflows. • Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage. • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple shipments. • Confidence using shipment management systems, spreadsheets, and digital tools.
