We are looking for an experienced **Technical Lead – MERN Stack** to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across the MERN stack, proven technical leadership capabilities, and the ability to guide development teams while ensuring code quality, architectural excellence, and timely project delivery. ### Key Responsibilities * Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle. * Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using the MERN stack. * Define technical architecture, coding standards, and development best practices. * Lead the development of frontend applications using React.js and backend services using Node.js and Express.js. * Design and manage database solutions using MongoDB, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity. * Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. * Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure software quality. * Identify technical challenges, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement effective solutions. * Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. * Oversee development planning, task allocation, code integration, and delivery timelines. * Ensure application security, performance optimization, and system reliability. * Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment activities. * Promote Agile development practices and continuous improvement within the team. ### Technical Requirements * Strong professional experience in full-stack development using the MERN stack. * Expert-level knowledge of **JavaScript and TypeScript**. * Strong hands-on experience with: * **MongoDB:** Database design, aggregation pipelines, indexing, and performance optimization. * **Express.js:** Backend development, middleware, routing, and API development. * **React.js:** Component-based architecture, hooks, state management, and frontend optimization. * **Node.js:** Server-side development, asynchronous programming, and backend architecture. * Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices. * Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles. * Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand. * Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT and OAuth 2.0. * Experience with Git and version control systems. * Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Strong understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimization. ### Technical Leadership Requirements * Proven experience leading and mentoring software development teams. * Ability to make architectural and technical decisions. * Experience conducting code reviews and establishing development standards. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. * Ability to manage technical priorities and ensure delivery within agreed timelines. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
