**Role Description** The Estimator – Aluminum/Facade role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. The estimator will review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for aluminum and facade works. Day-to-day tasks include quantity take-offs, material and labor cost analysis, preparation of detailed BOQs, and coordination with suppliers and contractors for pricing and technical clarifications. The role also involves evaluating project risks, supporting bid proposals, updating estimate records, and collaborating with project and technical teams to ensure estimates align with design intent and budgetary constraints. The estimator will contribute to maintaining cost databases and improving estimation processes to support efficient, compliant, and competitive project delivery. **Qualifications** * Strong experience in cost estimation for aluminum, curtain walls, cladding, windows, doors, and facade systems, including quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and shop drawings, with solid understanding of construction methods and facade engineering principles. * Knowledge of construction materials, aluminum and glass specifications, finishes, and installation techniques relevant to facade projects. * Competence with estimation and spreadsheet tools (e.g., MS Excel) and familiarity with CAD or similar software for measurements and take-offs. * Effective analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and project risks. * Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, and for preparing professional estimate reports. * Demonstrated ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage part-time schedules, and meet deadlines for tenders and proposals. * Relevant technical qualification or diploma/degree in civil engineering, construction, or a related field; prior experience in facade or aluminum contracting is highly preferred.
