Hy-Hybrid Energy founded the International Hydrogen Aviation Conference (IHAC), the world’s first annual conference dedicated exclusively to hydrogen-powered aviation, and is committed to turning ambitious clean energy concepts into bankable, high-impact projects. **Role Description** The Hydrogen Aviation Consultant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Glasgow, with flexibility for partial work-from-home. The consultant will provide technical and strategic advisory services on hydrogen-powered aviation, including feasibility studies, techno-economic assessments, and decarbonisation strategies for aviation stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing project concepts, assessing hydrogen aviation technologies and infrastructure needs, preparing high-quality reports and presentations, and supporting clients such as airlines, airports, OEMs, and investors. The role involves collaborating with internal and external experts, contributing to hydrogen aviation conferences and industry engagements, and supporting business development activities in clean aviation and hydrogen mobility. The consultant will also monitor market trends and regulatory developments to inform project planning and strategic recommendations. **Qualifications** * Experience in aviation domains, including Airlines and Aviation, with understanding of industry operations and regulatory environments. * Knowledge of Aircraft Leasing and Flights, including fleet planning, aircraft utilization, and commercial aviation models. * Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage client relationships, understand stakeholder needs, and deliver clear advisory support. * Background or strong interest in hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel, or clean aviation technologies, including hydrogen mobility and fuel cells. * Ability to conduct technical and commercial analyses, such as feasibility studies, techno-economic assessments, and market evaluations. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports, proposals, and presentations for diverse audiences. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and capability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams. * Relevant degree in engineering, aviation, energy, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications or industry certifications in hydrogen or sustainable aviation are an advantage. * Degree (MSc or PhD preferred) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related discipline. * Opportunity to contribute to pioneering hydrogen aviation initiatives. * Exposure to international aerospace, hydrogen, and sustainable aviation projects. * Collaboration with leading industry stakeholders and technology developers. * Flexible working arrangements and international project exposure. * Opportunity to work with a growing organisation at the forefront of hydrogen and sustainable aviation. * 📍 **Location:** Hybrid (UK & Remote) 💼 **Engagement:** Consultancy / Contract / Project-based How to Apply?
