With five studios across Surrey and Sussex, we offer a range of classes, beginner courses and experiences in Pole, Aerial Hoop and Aerial Silks. We are passionate about helping people discover something new, build confidence, develop strength and become part of our community. **About the Role** We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and commercially minded Beginner Engagement Coordinator to help drive new customer acquisition and fill beginner courses across all five My Body Rocks studios. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships and turning interest into paying customers. You will take ownership of the beginner customer journey; from the moment someone first enquires about our classes through to securing their place on a beginner course. Working across all five studio locations, your primary objective will be to maximise beginner course enrolments, improve course occupancy and introduce more people to the My Body Rocks community. This is a results-focused, self-employed engagement, offering flexibility and autonomy over how you organise your work, with remuneration combining a fixed monthly retainer and performance-related commission. **Key Responsibilities** **1\. Beginner Course Enrolment & Sales** * Take ownership of beginner course enrolments across all five studios. * Proactively convert incoming enquiries into confirmed course bookings. * Follow up prospective customers through telephone, email, WhatsApp and social media. * Re-engage previous enquiries and prospective customers who haven't yet booked. * Monitor course occupancy and identify opportunities to fill courses with available spaces. * Prioritise recruitment activity for courses with lower enrolment numbers. * Identify opportunities to promote different disciplines, including Pole, Aerial Hoop and Aerial Silks. * Work towards agreed enrolment and occupancy objectives. **2\. Customer Engagement & Experience** * Act as a friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for prospective customers. * Help potential customers understand what to expect from their first pole or aerial experience. * Address common concerns around fitness levels, body confidence, flexibility and previous experience. * Build confidence and enthusiasm, encouraging people to take their first step. * Deliver a welcoming and positive customer experience throughout the enquiry and booking journey. * Help new customers feel connected to the My Body Rocks community from their very first interaction. **3\. Lead Management & Follow-Up** *  Follow up all leads promptly and consistently, including leads from social media and our website, as well as inactive leads from people who have connected with our studios on Groovio but have not yet joined us. * Develop effective follow-up processes to maximise conversion opportunities. * Identify reasons why prospective customers do not proceed with bookings and recommend improvements. * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up activity. * You’ll engage with potential new customers via Calls, WhatsApp, and our Socials **4\. Course Promotion & Marketing Support** * Work collaboratively with the owners to promote upcoming beginner courses. * Identify opportunities for targeted promotions and campaigns. * Support the distribution of beginner course marketing content across social media, email and other channels. * Ensure upcoming courses receive appropriate promotional attention. * Identify local opportunities to attract new customers to each studio. * Suggest creative ways to increase awareness of beginner courses and encourage new customer enquiries. **5\. Local Events, Community Engagement & Outreach** * Proactively research and identify local events and community opportunities across the five My Body Rocks studio locations. * Identify suitable opportunities including summer fairs, festivals, community events, fitness and wellness events, school fairs, exhibitions and other relevant public events. * Develop and maintain a calendar of potential promotional events throughout the year. * Assess opportunities based on audience suitability, potential reach, costs and likely return on investment. * Plan and coordinate My Body Rocks' attendance at selected events, including booking promotional space, organising marketing materials and coordinating any equipment or staffing requirements. * Personally attend agreed events as a representative of My Body Rocks, actively engaging with visitors and promoting our pole and aerial classes, beginner courses, parties and wider studio offering. * Generate new leads and enquiries through face-to-face engagement and promotional activities. * Capture prospective customer details and follow up with interested individuals after each event. * Build relationships with local businesses, community organisations and event organisers to identify ongoing promotional and partnership opportunities. * Report on event attendance, leads generated, follow-up activity and resulting enrolments. All events and associated expenditure will be subject to prior agreement with My Body Rocks management. **6\. Performance Monitoring & Reporting** * Monitor beginner course occupancy across all five studios. * Maintain accurate records of enquiries, conversions and enrolments. * Identify courses requiring additional recruitment activity. * Provide regular performance updates and monthly reporting. * Monitor conversion rates and identify opportunities to improve performance. * Track leads and enrolments generated through local events and promotional activity. * Recommend improvements to the beginner customer journey and overall enrolment process. **Remuneration & Commission Structure** This is a self-employed contractor engagement with a combination of a fixed monthly retainer and performance-related commission. **Monthly Retainer: £500** The monthly retainer covers the ongoing management and coordination of beginner course engagement activities, including: * Lead management and customer follow-up. * Beginner course occupancy monitoring. * Promotional planning and coordination. * Performance tracking and reporting. **Performance Commission: £20 per qualifying enrolment** An additional £20 commission will be payable for every qualifying new beginner course enrolment secured through your engagement activities. A qualifying enrolment is defined as: * A new customer booking onto a My Body Rocks beginner course. * The customer has completed payment for their course. * The customer has not subsequently cancelled and received a refund. * The commission becomes payable once the course has commenced. This includes qualifying enrolments generated through direct enquiries, follow-up activity, local events and promotional campaigns. **Full Course Bonus: £100 per full beginner course** An additional £100 bonus will be payable for each beginner course that reaches full capacity, in addition to the monthly retainer and £20 commission per qualifying enrolment. Commission will be calculated monthly and paid alongside the agreed retainer. There is no upper limit on commission earnings. We have space for over 140 people in our January beginner courses alone! With a big focus on beginner courses across all our studios in the first half of 2027, so there’s lots of opportunity to make uncapped bonuses. \\ **Working Arrangements** This is a self-employed, outcome-focused engagement rather than a traditional employed position. You will have autonomy over how, when and where you organise your work, with no fixed working days or prescribed weekly hours. You will be responsible for managing your own workload and prioritising activity to deliver the agreed outcomes. You will work collaboratively with the My Body Rocks management and studio teams, maintaining regular communication and providing visibility of enrolment performance across all locations. Attendance at agreed promotional events will form part of the engagement, with arrangements discussed and agreed in advance. The engagement will initially be for six months, with performance and the ongoing arrangement reviewed during the contract period.
