**About EduSentra**
EduSentra is student retention software for UK higher education. Every morning, it gives student services and retention teams one clear list: which students need a conversation today, and why, drawn from the attendance, coursework and online learning data a provider already holds.
Our product is built and live, and we are now beginning work with our first higher education providers. This is one of our first roles, with real responsibility and visible impact from day one.
**About the role**
You know what it takes to keep a student on course: the phone call at the right moment, the honest conversation, the follow-up that does not slip. As our Student Success Specialist, you will bring that experience to every college that uses EduSentra.
You will be the person our partner colleges turn to. You will help their teams get started, make sure the daily list reflects how student services really works, and show their leaders the difference it makes. You will work directly with the founder, and what you learn from colleges will shape the product.
**What you will do**
* Help new colleges get started: guide them through setting up their data, attendance policy and staff accounts, and check that their first lists look right.
* Train student services officers, managers and personal tutors to use EduSentra with confidence, online and in short sessions.
* Be the first point of contact for partner colleges, answering questions such as “why is this student on the list?” clearly and quickly.
* Review the tool’s suggested next steps, reasons and letters with real practice in mind, and feed back what should change.
* Keep in regular touch with each college, spot when a team needs extra help, and make sure the tool fits into their day.
* Help prepare the evidence leaders care about: students reached, students who stayed, and case studies that show the impact.
**About you**
* Experience in student services, student support, retention, attendance monitoring or a similar student-facing role in a UK college or university.
* You understand the pressures student services teams work under, and the challenges students face.
* A clear, warm and confident communicator, comfortable explaining things to frontline staff and to senior leaders.
* Organised and reliable, with a good eye for detail and accurate records.
* Comfortable with everyday software and spreadsheets. No technical background is needed: full training is provided.
* Discreet with personal information, and committed to fairness.
* You must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
**What we offer**
* A salary of £27,000 per year.
* A permanent, full-time contract (37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday), with a three-month probation period.
* Fully remote working within the UK.
* 25 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays.
* A workplace pension.
* Training in customer success and in how retention software is built and used.
* The chance to use your student services experience to help students across many institutions, and to play a real part in building a company from its earliest stage.
**How to apply**
Apply through LinkedIn with your CV and a short note telling us why this role interests you, and about a time you helped a student who was at risk of leaving stay on course.
EduSentra is committed to equal opportunities and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.
