**Finance Operations Manager | London | PE-backed Renewables business | £90,000–£100,000 + bonus + benefits** I'm partnering with a private equity-backed renewables business that develops, owns and operates flexible renewable energy generation assets. It has major investor backing, a large pipeline of projects and ambitious European expansion plans, so its finance function needs to scale with it. They're hiring a Finance Operations Manager to take ownership of the core finance function and support the business in the next stage of growth. There is a lot of opportunity and growth for the right person **What you'll do** * Lead and develop a team of five across general ledger, month-end close and treasury operations. * Own the month-end close across a growing multi-entity, multi-currency group in the UK and Globally. * Make sure balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany and fixed assets are robust and audit-ready. * Act as business owner of the finance systems and drive automation and process improvement. * Lead the year-end audit and strengthen the internal control framework. * Own VAT compliance and support corporation tax and European statutory filings. * Provide clean, timely data for management, investor and lender reporting. **What you'll bring** * ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification. * Strong experience in finance operations or financial accounting, including month-end close, reconciliations and intercompany. * Experience leading a team. * Hands-on ERP ownership. Implementation experience is a big plus. * A track record of improving processes, controls and close timetables. * Experience in a PE-backed, high-growth, energy or infrastructure business is advantageous. For this role you will be reporting to the Group Finance Director and be comfortable leading a team.
