A UK InsureTech startup are looking for a **Full Stack Django Developer** who loves the frontend to help build across both of the core systems behind their platform. The company was formed in September 2026 and is launching into the UK insurance market in June 2027. The policy system is already built and quoting and the work on the claims system starts now so this is a great chance to get in early. The successful **Full Stack Developer** work with the team on the design system and have a real say in how the customer facing side of the platform is built. **What you will be doing** * Building the customer facing side of the platform in **Django and HTMX** * Building features end to end across both core systems, policy and claims * Taking ownership of the frontend builds within a small experienced team * Helping shape the frontend approach as the platform grows * Using AI coding tools day to day while knowing Django well enough to make the right calls **The stack** * **Python, Django** and DRF * **HTMX** on the frontend (some React) * Postgres * Celery for background jobs * Claude Code * Databricks on the data side **What they are looking for** * Commercial experience with **Django** and strong **Full Stack** background * Someone who feels at home in components, design systems and the customer facing side of a product * Experience with **HTMX** or frameworks like **React** with a willingness to work in HTMX * Comfortable working closely with designers and backend developers * A startup mindset and happy to pick up a loosely defined problem and run with it * Insurance experience is a bonus but not essential **What is on offer** * Salary of **£50,000-£70,000** depending on experience * Hybrid working, 1 to 2 days a week in a serviced office in London * The chance to own the frontend on a greenfield platform from the start * Starting ASAP If you're a UK based Full Stack Django Developer with a love for the frontend and this sounds like the right next step, apply today.
