Web QA Engineer | API & Database Testing **Love finding the root cause of a bug, not just reporting that something went wrong?** A leading healthcare organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced **Web QA Engineer** to join its Digital Web team. In this role, you'll test complex web applications, investigate technical issues, validate APIs and data, and collaborate with development teams to deliver reliable digital solutions. We're looking for a detail-oriented QA professional with strong technical curiosity, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience testing web applications in Client-Server environments. What You'll Do * Plan, document, and execute manual software tests based on functional and technical specifications. * Perform functional, system, integration, and cross-system testing. * Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and defect reports. * Test complex web applications in Client-Server environments. * Perform API testing using Postman or Swagger. * Validate data and investigate issues using databases and application logs. * Analyze defects, troubleshoot unexpected system behavior, and document findings. * Maintain test data and QA tools required for testing activities. * Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and technical teams. * Work within Agile and Scrum development processes. * Apply AI tools to practical QA activities beyond basic chatbot use. Mandatory Requirements * **At least 3 years of hands-on QA experience testing web applications in Client-Server environments.** * **Professional QA training from a recognized educational institution.** * Experience writing test plans, test cases, and defect reports. * Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments. * **Hands-on API testing experience using Postman or Swagger.** * Experience working with databases for testing and data validation. * Experience investigating application logs and technical issues. * Understanding of complex business and technical processes. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and independent problem-solving skills. * Ability to learn new technologies and investigate unfamiliar issues. * Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and teamwork. Advantages * Experience testing mobile applications on iOS or Android. * Familiarity with GlassBox, Kibana, Couchbase, or Umbraco. * Familiarity with automation tools such as Playwright or Appium. Position Details * **Location:** Central Israel * **Employment Type:** Full-time * **Work Model:** Hybrid, subject to organizational policy. * **First Three Months:** Full on-site attendance is required.
